We are seeking Principal Consultants to join our growing and dynamic Advisory team within the Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) Advisory capability. In a world of disruption and unprecedented change, our team supports clients across infrastructure and the built environment to implement bold solutions and solve their most pressing problems.
As a Principal Consultant, you will lead workstreams or small-to-medium sized commissions, providing strategic advice and challenge on complex procurement and supply chain issues. You will use your subject matter expertise to develop innovative, evidence-based solutions, build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, and act as a key day-to-day client contact. Your role will include leading workshops and stakeholder engagement with executive-level audiences, overseeing diagnostic assessments and analytical workstreams, managing and coaching junior team members, and contributing to the development of new tools and methodologies.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of sectors including Transport, Water & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Technology, and Real Estate & Development. You will be instrumental in helping clients make better procurement decisions, establish effective supplier relationships, strengthen organisational capability, and realise value from their supply chains.

Experience
Proven track record advising clients or leading complex supply chain and procurement projects or major transformations. Experience in one or more of the following areas is essential:
- Supply Chain and Procurement Strategy
- Category Management
- Contract and Commercial Advice
- Market Engagement & Market Management
- Supplier Relationship & Performance Management
- Procurement Execution
- Supply Chain Sustainability
- Supply Base Resilience & Risk Management
- Process Improvement and Digitisation
- Procurement and Commercial Capability Transformation
Experience within sectors such as Transport, Water & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Technology, or Real Estate & Development is desirable.
About you
Strong leadership capability with commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to develop trusted relationships with senior client decision-makers and a passion for helping clients solve complex challenges. Motivated to contribute to the growth of the Procurement & Supply Chain Advisory capability. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas persuasively.
You may come from a management consulting background (Big-4, Strategy, Boutique firms), or be transitioning from engineering, cost & commercial consultancy, programme/project management, or client-side roles with relevant skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
A strong intellect and the ability to demonstrate that you have the right solutions to clients’ most pressing issues. While specific qualifications are not mandated, relevant professional experience and a commitment to continuous learning and development are essential.
