About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the environmental field. Our portfolio spans diverse sectors including energy, aviation, nuclear, rail, property, and local government. As one of the UK’s largest environmental consultancies, we engage in projects ranging from small developments to major national infrastructure schemes, providing environmental inputs throughout the project lifecycle.

In this role, you will lead environmental teams and contribute to project designs and assessments, influencing environmental performance across sectors such as rail, highways, energy, and commercial/residential developments. You will be involved from feasibility through to planning, detailed design, construction, and handover/maintenance phases.

Your responsibilities will include providing environmental advice and support to clients and project teams, promoting sustainable design and environmental enhancement, leading complex projects with oversight of technical, quality, commercial, and health and safety aspects, and building strong client relationships. You will also play a key role in business development, including preparing proposals, delivering bids, and representing WSP at conferences.

Additionally, you will contribute to innovation within the team through initiatives such as Digital EIA and Technical Excellence, support career development within your team, and promote an inclusive and safe workplace culture aligned with WSP’s values.

WSP offers a hybrid working policy with flexibility to work from home two days a week, modern office environments, and a supportive culture that values diversity, wellbeing, and professional growth.
