We are currently recruiting a Process Technician to join a pumping operations team working across wastewater sites in the Rickmansworth area. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone looking to gain or build on their experience in plant operations, maintenance, and critical infrastructure support.

Please note: A full UK driving licence is essential. Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance to the Rickmansworth area.

What You’ll Do
• Carry out scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment to ensure reliable operation
• Support the cleaning, upkeep, and safety of site assets and facilities
• Respond to plant breakdowns and carry out reactive repairs when needed
• Monitor and report on site safety, flagging any hazards or incidents
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed correctly
• Conduct security checks and keep the site clean and tidy
• Operate as part of a small local team supporting multiple sites

What We’re Looking For
• Self-motivated and disciplined, with a willingness to learn and contribute to a close-knit team
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving faults
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Awareness of health and safety standards
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• A full UK driving licence is essential
• Experience in a technical, mechanical, or maintenance role (desirable but not essential)

Pay, Hours, Location, Start Date
• Salary: Starting from £28,335 per year depending on skills and experience
• Hours: 07:30 to 15:36, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
• Additional: Standby and overtime opportunities available
• Location: Rickmansworth – must live within a commutable distance
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Permanent, Full Time
