About the Role
We are seeking a Project Hydrogeologist to join our vibrant London office. Your work will involve a diverse range of projects including water monitoring, hydrogeological site investigations, groundwater abstraction licences, hydrogeological risk assessments, and environmental impact assessments. You will deliver work for clients across sectors such as minerals, waste management, renewables, property, and infrastructure throughout the UK. As part of a diverse team of hydrogeologists, you will have excellent opportunities to develop your hydrogeological skills and knowledge both on and off site. The role involves technical delivery of projects including site works such as site walkover surveys, supervising borehole drilling, geological logging, well installation, hydrogeological testing, and groundwater/surface water level and quality monitoring programmes. You will interpret hydrogeological data, prepare geological and hydrogeological Conceptual Site Models, assist with hydrogeological assessments including risk assessments and impact appraisals, and contribute to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) water chapters. The role requires occasional site work that may involve short periods away from home. Requirements

Experience
- One to two years of hydrogeological experience in a consultancy or similar commercial environment post-graduation.
- Specialist technical skills in water monitoring, hydrogeological site investigation, groundwater abstraction licences, hydrogeological risk assessments, and environmental impact assessments.

- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external clients.
- Willingness to undertake site work, including occasional travel and short periods away from home.
- Commitment to professional development and career progression.

Qualifications
- Relevant academic qualification(s) in hydrogeology or related discipline.
- Membership of a UK/EU recognised organisation (or equivalent overseas organisation) such as the Geological Society.
- Full, current UK driving licence.
