We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a residential construction site in South Thamesmead. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for a qualified tradesperson looking to apply their skills in a dynamic, high-quality work environment.

What You’ll Do:
• Carry out skilled roofing work including installation, repair, and replacement of roofing systems
• Use a range of materials including slate, tiles, shingles, lead, tar, asphalt, wood, and aluminium
• Plan and configure job requirements for both pitched and flat roofing
• Install and repair guttering, flashing, and other roof fittings
• Apply damp proofing, water proofing, and insulation systems
• Ensure all work is completed to meet ventilation, durability, and energy efficiency standards
• Adhere to all on-site health and safety procedures, including working at height
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 5 years' roofing experience
• Must hold a valid CSCS card
  – Level 2 NVQ = Blue CSCS
  – Level 3 or 4 NVQ = Gold CSCS
  – Level 6 NVQ = Black CSCS
• NVQ Level 2, 3, or 6 in Roofing Occupations
• Strong understanding of site safety and working at height
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Able to read technical plans and interpret specifications

Pay:
£36,000 – £44,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours:
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
