About Net Zero Careers
Net Zero Careers Accelerator (NZCA) connects individuals with hands-on roles that support the regeneration of sustainable homes, infrastructure, and community spaces. We work in partnership with employers and housing developers to help local residents access trade jobs in construction and retrofit.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tiler to join a large-scale new build development in South Thamesmead. You’ll be responsible for preparing surfaces, laying wall and floor tiles in residential units, and delivering high standards of finish in kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas.

DA1, DA14, DA15, DA16, DA17, DA18, DA5, DA6, DA7, DA8, SE2, SE9, SE28.

What You’ll Do:
• Measure and mark surfaces for tile layout
• Cut and shape tiles using hand tools or machinery
• Mix and apply adhesives and grout
• Lay ceramic, slate, marble, or glass tiles in various patterns
• Ensure all installations are properly aligned, sealed, and finished
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in wall and floor tiling
• Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker card (required)
• One or more of the following qualifications:

• Level 1 Certificate in Wall and Floor Tiling

• Level 2 Diploma or Certificate in Wall and Floor Tiling

• Level 2 NVQ in Wall and Floor Tiling
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role
  • Familiarity with construction sites and team collaboration

Pay:
£25,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

South Thamesmead

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours/week)
