We have an exciting opportunity for a Rail Depot and Rolling Stock Consultant to join our UK Infrastructure Asset Management team. You will help deliver our UK asset management strategy, lead and support depot and rolling stock asset management projects, and develop our capabilities and value propositions within the rail market.

Reporting to an Associate Director within Rail Asset Management, you will be a key member of the Arcadis Mobility team, contributing to business growth and opportunity creation. There will be opportunities for career development and potential to manage and support junior colleagues while establishing yourself as a technical subject matter expert in rail depot and rolling stock asset management.

Your role will include acting as a technical point of contact, providing advice and support on rolling stock and depot asset management, operational issues, engineering changes, and modifications. You will lead and support project delivery, ensuring quality and budget targets are met while exceeding client expectations. Additionally, you will support implementation of our UK Mobility asset management strategy and contribute to the development of our global advisory capabilities.

You will build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, support and lead technical inputs to tenders, and contribute to market engagement to identify future opportunities for Arcadis to grow its Rail Asset Management offering.

Experience
Background in depot operations and/or rolling stock asset management within the rail industry, gained in client, operator, maintainer, engineering, or consultancy environments.
- Experience delivering rolling stock and/or depot asset management projects addressing strategic, tactical, and operational challenges, including asset management strategies, plans, risk assessments, RAMS, operations and maintenance planning, decision support tools, and asset data quality assessments.
- Design project experience is welcomed to support wider design and engineering activities.
- Proven ability to support and/or manage tenders, bids, and technical proposals.
- Strong understanding of rolling stock and depot asset operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of asset risk, failure, and root cause analysis techniques such as FMECA, Bow Tie, and Fishbone analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO 55000 standards and relevant asset management processes and tools.
