About the Role
Equans is seeking a Regional Manager to lead the delivery of Total Facilities Services (TFS) across one of eight regions within our largest contract, HMCTS. This permanent role involves managing a team of nearly 300 employees, including three direct reports who are Area Facilities Managers responsible for both Hard and Soft Services. You will work closely with support functions such as Helpdesk, Finance, SHEQ, and HR to ensure smooth, contractually compliant service delivery that meets client expectations and contractual KPIs.
The role requires strong leadership in managing operational and technical teams, maintaining excellent client relationships, and ensuring the region consistently meets 26 contract KPIs. You will be responsible for P&L management (£3m-£10m), stakeholder engagement, performance management, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position demands a proactive, self-motivated individual with experience managing complex, high-volume contracts and the ability to adapt to changing business needs while maintaining service excellence.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships, leading operational teams to achieve contractual SLAs and KPIs, managing reporting and risk registers, ensuring safety and statutory compliance, overseeing employee development and talent management, and supporting the implementation of standard operating procedures to optimize service delivery and productivity.

Experience
- Proven operational experience managing contracts with critical services in high-volume environments
- Demonstrable track record of meeting SLAs and managing P&L responsibilities (£3m-£10m)
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and performance management skills
- Experience in continuous improvement and contract value enhancement
- Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and Quality systems
