About the Role
We are pleased to offer seasonal Research Assistant and Senior Research Assistant positions on a variety of ecological and social science projects across Great Britain in 2026. These roles involve carrying out agreed programmes of surveys, research work, or species recovery activities either independently or as part of a small survey team. Most positions require previous survey or field research experience along with excellent bird identification skills. Some roles require specialist skills such as bird ringing/handling or advanced botanical knowledge—please clearly state any specialist skills in your application. These roles are subject to change depending on funding confirmation or availability of new funding. Experience
