We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our team, working across domestic and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in roofing installation, repair, maintenance, and replacement. The successful candidate will demonstrate high standards of workmanship, strong customer service, and a commitment to health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out roof inspections and determine the best course of action based on structural assessments
• Remove existing roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations
• Install a range of roofing systems including slate, tile, felt, shingles, and flat roofing membranes
• Fit insulation, underlayments, battens, waterproofing layers, flashing, and drainage systems
• Ensure all works are weather-tight, compliant with building regulations, and completed to high safety standards
• Coordinate with Team Leads and Operations to understand the scope of work and deliver projects effectively
• Manage tools, materials, and site logistics to maximise efficiency
• Provide clear instructions to clients and offer support to vulnerable individuals where needed
• Complete accurate job documentation and communicate with subcontractors and suppliers as required

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in roofing (domestic and/or commercial)
• Strong understanding of insulation and weatherproofing practices
• Excellent planning, time management, and coordination skills
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal abilities
• Ability to solve problems under pressure and adapt to changing site conditions
• Professional appearance and commitment to high standards of hygiene and customer care
• Familiarity with health and safety requirements and site protocols
