
Location
Bempton Cliffs Reserve and surrounding towns within 10 miles of Bempton, East Riding of Yorkshire. Travel to local venues and events using a company van (fuel and parking covered).
Hours
Flexible working options - 3, 4 or 5 days per week. Availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends per month. Average travel time up to one hour each way.
Salary
£25,847 per annum (pro rata), stable salary not commission-based.
About the Role
Make a difference this summer by joining the RSPB Fundraising Team in the Bempton area. This seasonal role involves engaging visitors and the public to inspire support for nature and the RSPB’s mission. You will travel daily to local venues and events, set up eye-catching fundraising stands, and chat with people about conservation. This role is outdoors, people-focused, and rewarding, requiring confidence and resilience. Full training is provided, and no prior wildlife knowledge is needed. The role runs from February/March 2026 until early September 2026, with potential to return each year. Induction and training take place at RSPB HQ in Sandy, Bedfordshire, with travel and accommodation covered. The active fundraising season runs April to September.
Experience
Fundraising, sales or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
About you
Passionate about people and conservation. Confident engaging with the public. Resilient and positive when facing challenges. Comfortable working outdoors and independently. Willingness to travel up to one hour each way from home. Availability to work most weekends during the season.
Qualifications
A full UK driving licence is required. This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship; applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
