About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects that the world needs, collaborating with some of the brightest minds in your field. As a Senior, Principal, or Associate Sustainability Consultant within our Building Performance team, you will support the delivery of sustainable building solutions on high-profile projects as part of a growing national team. The team plays a central role in coordinating multi-disciplinary efforts towards Zero Carbon designs and provides sustainability and energy master planning advice for urban and semi-rural developments. You will work across a diverse range of building types including commercial offices, residential, education, healthcare, and retail.

Your responsibilities will include leading sustainability assessments such as LEED, WELL, and other certifications, developing sustainability strategies, preparing Whole Life Carbon and Circular Economy statements to support planning submissions, and managing contributions from various design team stakeholders. You will also ensure compliance with current and emerging UK sustainability legislation and communicate complex sustainability issues clearly through high-quality reports. This role requires independent project management and leadership in sustainability certifications, contributing to the UK Properties & Buildings business’s sustainability and Net Zero strategies.

WSP offers a culture that celebrates curiosity, innovation, and diverse perspectives, with a strong focus on work-life balance, inclusivity, and wellbeing. Our hybrid working policy provides flexibility to work from home two days a week alongside collaboration opportunities in modern offices across the UK. We support your health and wellbeing through comprehensive programs and offer flexible working arrangements to help you balance your professional and personal life. Join us to make a positive, lasting impact on communities and shape a career as unique as you.
