As a Senior Town Planner, you will contribute to the success of the town planning team by supporting the wider team to win and deliver outstanding work for our clients, grow our capability and reputation, and build positive relationships within Arcadis and beyond. You will be an integral part of an integrated planning and environmental team, delivering projects across multiple sectors for a diverse range of clients.

You will deliver high-quality technical work independently or as part of a team, ensuring adherence to professional guidance, policy, and best practice. Effective time management and collaboration with other disciplines will be essential to maintain the integrity of overall project solutions. You will develop strong working relationships with project leads and clients, communicating progress, managing changes, and resolving issues efficiently. Additionally, you will coach and guide junior team members, supporting their project delivery and professional development.

Maintaining a good understanding of Arcadis services, client businesses, and industry sectors will be important to facilitate networking and enhance both personal and company credibility. You will also proactively engage with relevant Arcadis policies, procedures, and processes, carrying out your role in accordance with the company’s General Business Principles.

Experience
- Substantial experience in town planning or a directly relevant profession, applying key principles in practice.
- Competent in town planning skills relevant to your area of work, such as development planning, planning policy, or infrastructure planning.
- Experience working within integrated teams and managing client relationships.
- Advanced proficiency with relevant desktop applications.
- Good understanding of Environmental, Safety and Risk Management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, preferably accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent.
- Substantial progress toward achieving Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation.
