About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving complex challenges together.

Our paid Intern & Placement programme offers a hands-on insight into our work and supports your development within your chosen field. You will receive technical training and personal development opportunities based on Arcadis’ core values. Throughout your internship or placement, you will work on real projects and engage with clients, gaining valuable experience.

As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you will focus from day one on your chosen discipline. Working within teams of consultants, you will be responsible for your own deliverables, liaise with clients, and build your technical expertise.

You will contribute to a variety of environmental and planning projects, including major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused initiatives, exposing you to diverse challenges and specialist knowledge.

Role Accountabilities:
Within the Geo-Environmental / Land Quality discipline of our award-winning Site Evaluation and Restoration team, you will undertake site-based ground investigations to assess ground conditions for geological, geotechnical, soil contamination, and groundwater quality purposes. This data informs design decisions or environmental restoration projects aimed at returning sites to suitable use while protecting the environment.

As a student, you will participate in project teams performing site work such as soil and groundwater sampling, site supervision, desk-based research, and report writing.
