You will be involved in real projects and client engagements, gaining experience over the course of your internship or placement. As part of a team, you will contribute to feasibility studies, design, and site supervision on Bridge and Civil structures projects within Highways and Rail sectors.
Arcadis has a 400-year history of involvement in iconic bridges such as Sydney Harbour Bridge, Humber Bridge, Victoria Falls Bridge, and The Millau Viaduct. Projects you may work on include HS2, Lower Thames Crossing, heritage bridges over the Thames, moving bridges in central London, and iconic bridges in Texas, New Zealand, Cardiff, and Belgium.
You will be supported by experts and work within an established community to develop first-class, digital, and sustainable solutions for our clients.

Experience
You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject such as MEng (or MSc) Structural Engineering, Civils & Structures Engineering, or Civil Engineering. Demonstrated skills include resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and teamwork.

About you
Excellent communication skills with the ability to use technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders. Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working embraced where possible). A proactive and motivated individual eager to learn and contribute to impactful projects.

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (MEng or MSc) in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
