We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a major utilities infrastructure project based in Beckton – East London. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone with experience in warehouse operations, yard work, or stores who is looking for long-term work in a busy, safety-led environment.

Please note: Due to travel constraints, applicants must live north of the River Thames and within commutable distance to the Beckton area. Applicants who are unable to travel easily to the site may not be considered.

What You’ll Do
• Operate forklifts and mechanical handling equipment (training available)
• Receive, record, and store deliveries using inventory systems
• Safely load and unload stock and equipment
• Maintain clear and safe warehouse workspaces
• Action returns and update stock movements using SAP or Excel
• Support delivery and collection of critical infrastructure materials
• Communicate clearly with team members and follow daily work plans
• Carry out manual handling tasks including lifting up to 25kg

What We’re Looking For
• Previous warehouse, yard, or stores experience (Essential)
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a large industrial warehouse
• Good numeracy and communication skills
• Basic IT skills including Excel
• A full UK driving licence and access to transport (Desirable)
• Forklift licence is a strong advantage but not essential
• Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious

Pay, Hours, Location, Start Date
• Salary: Up to £32,000 per year depending on experience
• Hours: 07:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
• Occasional Saturday work may be required (overtime rates apply)
• Location: Beckton – East London – must live within a commutable distance north of the River Thames
• Start Date: Early December
• Contract: Permanent, Full Time
• Closing Date: 12 November 2025
