The Turbine O&M Technician will support the Turbine Operations & Maintenance Team by delivering specific projects and providing technical assistance to resolve ongoing issues and implement improvements. Candidates with a technical background in mechanical and/or electrical systems, preferably in turbine disciplines, and strong analytical fault-finding skills across Electrical, Mechanical & Hydraulic systems are highly valued. Experience with Gamesa G8x wind turbines is especially advantageous.

The role suits an experienced Wind Turbine Technician eager to develop their capabilities in delivering high-quality maintenance activities and contributing positively to business growth. You will be expected to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, engage with customers at site level, and coordinate pre-task planning. Preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and other client-required procedures with a strong focus on Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental standards is essential.

Training will be provided for the right candidate, covering gearbox inspections, specialised equipment use (vibration analysis, ultrasound, bore scope, thermal imaging), blade repairs, technical auditing, reporting, and in-house technical training delivery.

Experience
- Technical background in mechanical and/or electrical systems, preferably turbine-related
- Analytical fault-finding on Electrical, Mechanical & Hydraulic systems
- Experience with Gamesa G8x wind turbines highly valued
- Wind Turbine maintenance and large component exchange
- Managing heavy lifting and working at height
- Use of hydraulic tooling and blade repairs
- Coordination of subcontractors and team leadership
- Health & Safety focused environment experience (RA, CoSSH, MS, WTSR)

- Proficient in customer interface at site level and pre-task coordination

Qualifications
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Qualification (Minimum Level 3 NVQ)
- Relevant turbine O&M background preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate
