As an Asset Manager (BESS), you will be responsible for the technical asset management of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring all obligations under the RES Asset Management Agreement (AMA) are completed efficiently and on time. You will manage compliance with statutory Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and ensure assets operate in line with key project agreements such as Lease, Planning Consent, and Grid Connection Agreements.

You will oversee contractor management, working closely with O&M contractors and other service providers to ensure safe and efficient delivery of contracted tasks. Performance management of the asset will be a key responsibility, including reviewing contractor performance reports, verifying contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as site production availability and performance ratio, and identifying opportunities to optimise technical performance.

Reporting duties include producing asset performance reports in accordance with the Asset Management contract. You will also act as the primary point of contact for landowners and external stakeholders including local authorities and members of the public, managing these key relationships professionally and effectively.

Experience
- Experience managing third-party contractors (essential)
- Operational experience of renewable energy assets, specifically Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Reviewing and preparing technical performance reports (preferred)
- Familiarity with computerised SCADA systems and maintenance management systems (preferred)
