We are hiring Assistant Project Managers to join our growing Environmental Project Management team, playing a key role in multi-disciplinary environmental projects. You will support the Project Manager and Technical Lead to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
You will work on a diverse and exciting range of environmentally led projects across the UK in both public and private sectors. Our clients include High Speed 2, Homes England, UK Defence, Heathrow, Bristol Airport, Flotation Energy, Rampion Wind Farm, Orsted Hornsea Three Wind Farm, National Grid, and EDF Energy.
Key responsibilities include supporting the development of project proposals by determining project requirements, scope, resources, programme, and cost estimates. You will assist in developing project management documentation such as project management plans, cost estimates and forecasts, risk registers, project schedules, and stakeholder registers. You will coordinate monitoring and updating project schedules and progress against milestones, prepare health and safety information for site visits, schedule meetings, take minutes, track actions, and manage information via Common Data Environments like SharePoint and ProjectWise. You will work with multi-disciplinary environmental project teams and assist in the administration of supplier contracts.

Experience
An interest or experience in environment and/or land-based sustainable development is preferred. Project experience, especially in environment or sustainability sectors, is advantageous.
About you
You will demonstrate a can-do attitude, strong communication skills (both in person and digitally), problem-solving abilities, great attention to detail, collaboration skills, and determination. You should be eager to develop your career and work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
Qualifications
A degree in a relevant discipline such as environment, project or construction management, engineering, science, building, or quantity surveying is required, or a combination of relevant project management experience and qualifications.
