About the Role
Join Stantec's Landscape Architecture team as an Associate Director specializing in Landscape Planning. This role offers the chance to lead a diverse range of projects across sectors including urban regeneration, new town settlements, tall buildings, residential/mixed-use greenfield development, commercial, infrastructure, and energy projects at various planning stages. You will shape the strategic direction of landscape planning services, manage multidisciplinary teams, and drive excellence across a broad portfolio. Key responsibilities include leading landscape and townscape planning projects, providing expert input into Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA), Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (TVIA), and strategic landscape analysis. You will mentor and support professional development within the team, contribute to business development activities, represent the landscape team in meetings and consultations, collaborate across UK offices, and provide strategic advice on landscape capacity, sensitivity studies, and character assessments including Green Belt and Strategic Gap evaluations. Requirements

Experience
- Extensive experience in landscape planning, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Proven track record in leading complex projects and managing client relationships.
- Strong technical expertise in LVIA, TVIA, and strategic landscape assessments.

Qualifications
