About the Role
As a Design Manager within Stantec's Water business, you will lead a talented team to deliver impactful water projects from initial concept through to detailed design. You will foster a collaborative and innovative environment where new ideas are welcomed and work on award-winning initiatives across clean water, wastewater, flood risk, and urban drainage projects. You will influence the future of the industry by partnering with major clients across the UK. Your role will involve acting as the technical lead alongside the Project Manager to ensure best value and service excellence. You will oversee all aspects of delivery, including design & build projects, detailed design delivery, and owners engineer services, requiring complex multi-disciplinary collaboration both internally and externally. You will plan and lead the technical delivery of projects, collaborate closely with clients, and guide your multidisciplinary team throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will have direct access to Stantec’s global network of experts, providing the tools and knowledge to deliver leading-edge designs.

Experience
- Proven experience as an Engineer with strong technical expertise in Civils, Mechanical and Electrical, Process, or other relevant disciplines.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Previous involvement in major projects is highly desirable.
