We are expanding our teams to deliver expert solutions to complex challenges in urban drainage. As a Senior Urban Drainage Modeller, you will be part of a national team working on diverse projects focused on catchment growth, flood risk reduction, and water quality improvement. Your work will be grounded in a deep understanding of urban drainage within the wider water cycle and urban landscape, with a strong emphasis on environmental commitments, sustainability, and community impact. Innovation is key to our success, and your input will help maintain our leadership in developing digital solutions and smart applications. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, provide technical leadership, and make a genuine difference to communities. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership for urban drainage modelling projects, developing innovative solutions for stormwater overflows, water quality management, developer assessments, and flood investigations. You will collaborate with specialist teams to develop new tools and procedures within wastewater modelling, plan and coordinate project delivery including cost estimation, and line manage and mentor junior team members, supervising their technical outputs.
Experience
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject. Proven experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment with a broad technical knowledge of urban drainage modelling activities, including full working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM. Experience managing and developing staff and providing technical leadership within a team.

Qualifications
