About the Role
Our Landscape team is seeking an Associate Landscape Architect with landscape planning experience to join and contribute to a broad range of prestigious projects across the UK. You will lead and support projects across sectors including urban regeneration, new town settlements, tall buildings, residential/mixed-use greenfield development, commercial, infrastructure, and energy projects at various planning stages. Key responsibilities include carrying out landscape, townscape, and visual impact assessments, providing strategic analysis, and offering detailed design advice. While landscape planning is a focus, you will continue to apply your landscape design skills. You will collaborate closely with senior colleagues and technical and design specialists across our UK Landscape team based in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, London, Reading, and Warrington. Experience
- Preliminary landscape and visual appraisals to inform development processes
- Landscape and visual impact assessments
- Conceptual and strategic design sketches
- Townscape and visual impact assessments including tall building assessments
- Strategic assessments of designations such as Green Belts and Strategic Gaps
- Landscape Capacity and Sensitivity Studies and character assessments
- Input to Vision Documents, Design and Access Statements, and Design Codes

You are a skilled landscape architect with strong experience in landscape planning and visual impact assessment.
