About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects that make a positive impact on communities worldwide. As an Associate Project Manager within our expanding team, you will focus on delivering diverse projects across infrastructure, natural environment, water, flood defence, and earth and environment sectors. You will be part of the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group and the wider Project Management and Commercial Management Team (PMCM), which includes over 400 professionals across the UK.
You will lead and guide multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring compliance with quality management systems and driving efficiencies throughout project execution. Your role will include organising and chairing client meetings, managing projects with values ranging from £10m to £500m, and undertaking contract management under various frameworks. You will take accountability for delivering projects within agreed financial metrics and provide leadership and line management responsibilities within your team.

Experience
- Proven track record of delivering complex, high-risk projects successfully, including large infrastructure projects and programmes
- Experience in Project Management, Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying, or Commercial Management
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk management, planning/scheduling, and commercial management
- Experience working in collaborative integrated delivery teams
- Proficiency in project management tools and software

Qualifications
- Professional qualification in project management, quantity surveying, and/or an engineering discipline
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) or related field
- NEC accreditation in Project Management
- Membership of professional institutions, preferably Chartered
- Evidence of higher attainment and ongoing professional development in project management or related field
