About the Role
Join WSP as an Associate Project Manager within our expanding team focused on water, environment, infrastructure, flood defence, and earth sectors. You will deliver diverse projects for a wide range of global clients, working on large-scale infrastructure including highways, rail, urban infrastructure, energy, flood, water, wind energy, nuclear, defence, and utilities. As part of the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group and the wider Project Management and Commercial Management Team, you will benefit from a supportive culture that values career growth, flexible working, and wellbeing.
A typical day includes ensuring compliance with quality management systems, driving efficiencies in project execution, leading multi-disciplinary project teams, supporting business development and marketing efforts, chairing client meetings, and managing projects valued between £10m and £500m. You will take accountability for project delivery within financial targets, manage contract administration, and provide leadership and line management within your team.

Experience
- Proven track record delivering complex, high-risk projects successfully, ideally in infrastructure or environmental sectors
- Experience in project management, civil engineering, quantity surveying, or commercial management
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk management, planning/scheduling, and commercial management
- Experience working in collaborative integrated delivery teams
- Proficiency with project management tools and software

Qualifications
- Professional qualification in project management, quantity surveying, and/or an engineering discipline
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) or related field
- NEC accreditation in Project Management
- Membership of professional institutions, preferably Chartered status
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and higher attainment in project management or related field
