About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects that make a positive impact on communities worldwide. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will support the delivery of a diverse range of environmentally led projects across the UK in both public and private sectors. You will manage smaller scale projects and assist Senior Project Managers on larger projects, gaining valuable experience and development opportunities. This role also offers the chance to line manage and mentor junior team members.

You will be responsible for developing project proposals, including defining project scope, resources, programmes, and budgets. You will maintain project management documentation such as plans, cost estimates, risk registers, schedules, and stakeholder registers to ensure successful delivery. Monitoring and controlling project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress will be key to your role, alongside contract management and administration.

Health and safety will be a priority, ensuring all necessary information and approvals are in place for site visits. You will manage changes to project scope and ensure adherence to governance. Leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary environmental project teams, promoting high-quality delivery, health and safety, and inclusion and diversity will be essential. You will represent the Earth & Environment team internally and externally, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

WSP offers a collaborative and supportive environment where you can develop your skills and grow your network. You will work closely with technical specialists across the wider business to deliver the best expertise to clients.
