About the Role
This role supports the delivery of environmental sustainability on Balfour Beatty rail projects, ensuring compliance, stakeholder engagement, and performance reporting aligned with the Building New Futures strategy. It combines hands-on operational delivery with early-stage team guidance and influence. You will contribute to the strategic implementation of project sustainability plans, driving actions, monitoring progress, and reporting to senior Environmental Sustainability Team members and project Leadership Teams. The role involves supporting Senior Environmental Advisors and Consultants, liaising with other group Sustainability teams to deliver best sustainability outcomes. You will ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and ISO14001 requirements, including directing and supporting project teams in the preparation of consents, licences, and permits.
