Wood PLC is seeking an experienced geoenvironmental Assistant Consultant or Consultant to join one of the largest and most successful risk assessment, remediation, and ground engineering teams in the UK and Europe. Experience
- Preparation of Phase 1 contaminated land/geoenvironmental desk studies
- Planning, designing and managing contaminated land and geoenvironmental ground investigations
- Field logging of made ground and superficial deposits
- Knowledge of Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations and their application to ground investigations
- Understanding of UK land contamination regime, environmental permitting, and due diligence
- Risk-based assessment of land contamination
- Report writing with ability to present complex technical information clearly
- Data handling skills; experience with GIS/QGIS is desirable

- Working towards or prepared to work towards Chartership with a relevant institution
