About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people in more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life through innovative and sustainable solutions.
Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, involving real client work and projects from day one. Your journey will be shaped by your chosen specialism and the variety of projects you contribute to. You will build technical expertise by engaging in meaningful client engagements and project work, while developing business acumen and professional skills through centrally delivered graduate cohort training.
As a Building Surveyor, you will support the delivery of building surveys, technical assessments, and project management for a wide range of clients and property types. Your responsibilities will include inspecting buildings, identifying defects, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and sustainability standards. You will be involved in report writing and site visits, working within multidisciplinary teams on refurbishment and maintenance projects. You will also use digital tools such as BIM and data analytics to help deliver innovative, sustainable solutions.
This role offers hands-on experience, professional development, and the opportunity to contribute to creating and maintaining safe, efficient, and future-proof buildings. Graduates are encouraged and supported to seek opportunities to broaden their experience and support their development within a diverse team of consultants.
Experience
You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2026, with at least a 2:2 in a RICS accredited master's or bachelor's degree. Demonstrated skills include resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and being a team player.
About you
Excellent communication skills with the ability to use technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders. Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working embraced where possible). A proactive approach to seeking opportunities and developing your skills within a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
BSc or MSc Building Surveying or similar RICS accredited degree.
