About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving complex challenges together. Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, involving real client work and projects from day one. Each graduate’s journey is unique, shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build technical expertise through meaningful client engagements and project work, while developing business acumen and professional skills via centrally delivered graduate cohort training. Graduates are encouraged and supported to proactively seek opportunities to broaden their experience and development.
As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants, you will be responsible for your own deliverables, liaise with clients, and have every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. You will work on a range of environmental and planning projects including major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused initiatives, exposing you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.
The Design & Construction Safety Team has extensive knowledge in eliminating and managing risks associated with construction projects from initial feasibility and survey investigation through to design, construction, and safe access and maintenance of completed assets. You will assist in delivering project-related tasks such as initial site visits, reviewing survey information, identifying gaps, scoping specialist consultant appointments, and reviewing design development at each stage to ensure risks are eliminated or reduced to their lowest manageable level.
Experience
You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2025 or 2026 with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree. You should demonstrate resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and be a team player. Excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders are essential. Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required is expected, although virtual working is embraced where possible. You must be comfortable with site-based working when required and hold a full UK driving licence.
About you
You have a strong interest in Safety Management and are motivated to develop your professional skills within a supportive and dynamic environment. You are proactive in seeking opportunities to broaden your experience and are committed to delivering high-quality work that contributes to sustainable solutions.
Qualifications
Accepted degrees include BEng or BSc in design-related fields such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management.
