About the Role
You will be responsible for establishing and growing an office in Scotland for a leading renewable engineering consultancy. The company specializes in foundations and steel design for offshore wind turbines, including stress analysis, finite element modelling, load modelling, and the complete design of large offshore foundations such as jackets, monopiles, and steel towers. This is a wide-ranging leadership role combining business development, strategic management, and hands-on design engineering. You will lead package management, engineering management, and detailed analysis and design within the offshore wind sector, driving growth and technical excellence in the Scottish market.

Experience
- Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering degree
- Senior offshore wind structural engineering experience including package and engineering management
- Expertise in structural engineering for offshore wind foundations (jackets, monopiles, floating structures)
- Strong network within the renewable energy sector to support business development
- Excellent communication skills including written, presentation, and chairing meetings

Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering
- Advantageous to have experience in owner’s engineer roles, contract management, geotechnical engineering, offshore installation, structural dynamics, and familiarity with certification agencies such as DNV-GL, Lloyd’s Register, and Bureau Veritas
