About the Role
You will be responsible for establishing and growing a London office for a leading offshore wind engineering consultancy. The company specializes in foundations and steel design for offshore wind turbines, including stress analysis, finite element modelling, load modelling, and the complete design of large offshore foundations such as jackets, monopiles, and steel towers. This senior role combines business development, strategic leadership, management, and hands-on design engineering. You will lead package management, engineering management, and detailed analysis and design within the offshore wind sector. This is a senior director level position with potential for equity and excellent opportunities for technical and personal development within a fast-growing, innovative renewable energy company.

Experience
- Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering
- Senior structural engineering experience in offshore wind foundations
- Proven expertise in structural engineering, package management, and engineering management within offshore wind
- Strong network within the renewable energy sector to support business development
- Excellent communication skills including report writing, chairing meetings, and presentations

Qualifications
- Essential: Offshore wind structural engineering experience
- Advantageous: Experience as Owner’s Engineer, contract management, offshore wind turbine foundations (jackets, monopiles, floating), steel structures (steel towers), geotechnical knowledge, offshore installation, structural dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations, and familiarity with certification agencies such as DNV-GL, Lloyds Register, and Bureau Veritas
