About the Role
Join Veolia and become a vital part of one of the UK's largest growing fleets, delivering essential services that positively impact local communities and the environment. As an HGV Driver, you will maintain and clean public areas including streets, channels, footpaths, alleys, subways, and areas around street furniture using supplied equipment. You will perform duties efficiently to ensure maximum productivity, complete all required paperwork or electronic forms accurately, and comply with Health & Safety procedures while wearing appropriate Veolia PPE at all times. You will work independently or as part of a team, reporting any fly tipping, graffiti, fly posting, or damaged/missing litter bins. At the end of each shift, you are responsible for leaving the vehicle cab clear of litter, uniform, and personal effects. Any accidents must be reported and documented before leaving work. Full training is provided, and the role involves working mainly outdoors in all weather conditions.

Experience
Essential: Class 2 Driving Licence and an up-to-date CPC / DIGI card.
Desirable: Local geographical knowledge including experience driving in the area and experience in waste transport.
About you
Reliable and safety conscious with a commitment to following Health & Safety procedures. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Motivated to provide excellent service to local communities and contribute positively to the environment.
Qualifications
Valid Class 2 Driving Licence and current CPC / DIGI card are required. Full training will be provided to support your success in the role.
