About the Role
As a Service Engineer at Veolia, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions to create a more sustainable future. You will perform daily operational and maintenance routines for Energy Centre equipment, focusing on District Energy Schemes with Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) Systems. Your responsibilities include attending residential properties connected to Energy Networks for maintenance and repairs, delivering excellent customer service aligned with Veolia Values, and maintaining new and existing equipment effectively with minimal supervision. You will conduct reactive and planned maintenance, including diagnostic and fault-finding tasks, and ensure all work complies with Veolia health and safety policies, including contractor supervision and risk assessment. Additionally, you will complete service and breakdown reports accurately and promptly, respond appropriately to emergency situations, and perform additional duties as required. Requirements

Experience
Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical maintenance with skills in equipment maintenance and repair. Experienced with HVAC systems including heat pumps, cooling towers, and chillers. F Gas and Legionella certified. Comfortable with lifting, working at heights, and in confined spaces. Full driving license required.

About you
Effective communicator and proactive problem-solver. Able to deliver excellent customer service and work independently. Comfortable working with the general public and responding to emergency situations.

Qualifications
Essential qualifications include Electrical or Mechanical maintenance certification, F Gas and Legionella certification. Desirable qualifications include experience operating Low Temperature Hot Water Systems and associated equipment, knowledge of heat interface units, cooling interface units, fan coil units, planned maintenance schedules, and repair works. Additional desirable qualifications include 18th Edition Electrical Regulations, Gas Safe for commercial buildings, and experience with controls, BMS, MBus, Modbus, data loggers, and Automated Meter Reading systems.
