About the Role

As a Hydrogeology Consultant, you will be an integral member of our UK Groundwater Advisory team, supporting the collection, collation, and interpretation of hydrogeological data across a broad range of engineering, environmental, and water resource projects. Your work will include quantitative assessment and groundwater modelling to provide technical advice for built environment projects and water supply companies.

You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, partnering with clients to understand their challenges and deliver effective solutions. Additionally, you can broaden your skills within our wider geo-environmental consultancy team through training in site investigation, land quality, and engineering geology assessments.

Key responsibilities include processing data from site investigations and databases, assisting in developing hydrogeological conceptual models, presenting outputs using various software including GUIs, GIS, and MS Office, documenting data interpretation and model rationale, contributing to report production, and fulfilling duties within the Arcadis business management system. You will also proactively manage potential delays to minimize project risks.

Experience
Up to 3 years’ experience within consultancy, water company, or regulatory environment.
Experience with groundwater model development and calibration is desirable.
Sound knowledge of geology and hydrogeology in relevant settings.

Qualifications
MSc or higher qualification in Hydrogeology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is desirable.
