About the Role
Equans is seeking a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer to join the team at ICR Sutton. You will be responsible for ensuring all planned preventive maintenance (PPM) is completed accurately and on time using PDA and CAFM systems. You will manage reactive and breakdown tasks proactively, reporting plant faults and issuing quotations as required. Maintaining safety compliance is essential, including conducting Point of Work Risk Assessments and working within Permit to Work and SHEQ guidelines. You will supervise subcontractors, maintain plant rooms to a high standard, and participate in a 12-hour shift on-call rota (4 on/4 off).

Experience
Recognised industry-qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, ideally Level 3 qualified. Experience in electrical/mechanical building services maintenance with knowledge of 7671 18th Edition and ideally 2361 inspection qualifications. Skilled in reading mechanical and electrical drawings and competent in using CAFM systems.
About You
Strong communicator, self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. Holds a full clean driver's licence and maintains a professional appearance and demeanour. Fluent in English, available for out of hours standby rota, and flexible to work 12-hour shifts (4 on/4 off).
Qualifications
Industry-recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification, ideally Level 3. Knowledge of 7671 18th Edition wiring regulations and 2361 inspection qualifications is desirable.
