About the Role
As an Electrician at EQUANS, you will carry out electrical duties in accordance with statutory regulations, company policies, and procedures. You will assist the team in delivering a quality product that meets contract requirements while maintaining a safe working environment. Key responsibilities include replacement of consumer units, installing final sub-circuit wiring, fault finding, replacing final circuit accessories such as sockets and light switches, and replacing extractor fans and light fittings according to manufacturer instructions. You will also perform testing in line with BS.7671 wiring regulations, complete relevant certifications (EICR, EIC, Minor Works), and ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer care expectations. Maintaining company tools, vehicles, and work areas to a high standard is essential, as is liaising professionally with clients, consultants, and contract administrators. You will be expected to achieve first-time fix wherever possible and adhere to all health and safety requirements.

Qualifications
- Gold ECS card at Approved Electrician grade (Essential)
- AM2 qualification (Essential)
- 2391 qualification (Desirable)

Experience
- Up-to-date relevant industry knowledge
- Current knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
