We are recruiting a Project Manager with experience managing NEC ECC contracts to join our Water teams supporting flood defence schemes. You will work on some of the biggest and most iconic projects worldwide, delivering transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.
As an NEC ECC Project Manager, you will manage a range of Water, Civil Engineering, and Utilities projects, focusing on NEC contracts by providing early contractual advice and administration during the construction phase. Our Resilience team protects natural environments and water resources while addressing the increasing challenges posed by climate change, urbanization, and biodiversity loss.
Your role will involve project managing civil engineering, water, and utility projects using NEC4/NEC3 ECC contracts, collaborating with clients, contractors, consultants, and third parties to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. You will provide high-level advice to resolve construction issues, monitor progress, identify risks, and implement timely solutions. Additionally, you will support project teams to achieve integrated solutions that promote environmental improvements and ensure health and safety awareness and safe working practices are maintained throughout.
Experience
- Proven project management experience with NEC ECC contract management, delivering large-scale, complex projects.
- Background in Civil Engineering, Utilities, Water, Environment, or Infrastructure projects.
- Strong and demonstrable experience with NEC forms of contract.
- Flood Risk Management experience and/or Civil Engineering background is desirable.

Qualifications
- Membership of professional bodies such as Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Association of Project Managers (APM), or Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) is advantageous.
- NEC3 or NEC4 Accredited Project Manager status is advantageous.
