As part of one of the largest UK multi-disciplinary water and wastewater infrastructure teams, you will work on a wide variety of projects including drainage design, SuDS, and surface water management for clients across the UK and internationally. This is an exciting time for the UK Water business with unprecedented investment and rapid expansion planned over the next 10 years.

We are seeking a Principal/ Associate Director Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to lead a hydraulic modelling framework with a leading UK Water Company. You will lead projects involving Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plans, flood alleviation, environmental solution development, model build, maintenance, verification, and wastewater catchment strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring quality outputs, compliance with standards, driving continuous improvement, and supporting project managers in delivering projects and programmes.

In this role, you will supervise and develop staff, provide guidance for professional growth, contribute to technical innovation, and lead improvement workgroups. Experience
- Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects within the UK Water Industry.
- Expertise in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and solution development.
- Strong knowledge of InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
- Ability to review and provide quality assurance on others’ work to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience with MS 365 applications; knowledge of PowerBI and SharePoint is advantageous.
- Experience with software such as FME, Optimatics, Ruby (or similar) is desirable.

Qualifications
- Relevant degree or vocational qualification.
