About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving complex challenges together.

We are seeking experienced Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and Senior Project Managers to join our growing rail team. You will work across a diverse portfolio of current and upcoming rail infrastructure and asset protection projects, supporting or leading the safe and successful development and delivery of rail infrastructure and externally funded schemes.

The level of appointment will reflect your experience, leadership capability, and the complexity of projects you can independently manage. This is an opportunity to contribute to challenging rail programmes and projects, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, responsible, and sustainable outcomes.

Whether you are building your career as an Assistant Project Manager or already leading complex programmes at Senior Project Manager level, we will match the opportunity and level of responsibility to your skills and experience.

Role Accountabilities:
- Manage project scope, delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and project controls
- Support or lead rail infrastructure, asset protection, and third-party schemes
- Coordinate interfaces between clients, contractors, operators, asset owners, and technical disciplines
- Manage project risks, issues, change, governance, and assurance requirements
- Monitor programme, cost, quality, safety, and overall project performance
- Work within rail project lifecycles and governance processes, including PACE or equivalent
- Support commercial management, contract administration, procurement, and budget control
- Communicate clear project updates, recommendations, and decisions to stakeholders
- Lead project teams and mentor colleagues at senior levels

The roles provide the opportunity to work across multidisciplinary projects where safety, railway interfaces, stakeholder relationships, and successful delivery are critical.

- Experience involving asset protection, third-party schemes, possessions and isolations, sponsorship, PACE, signalling, digital railway, timetable interfaces, or infrastructure assurance is particularly valuable

About you
You are a collaborative, safety-focused, and solutions-led professional with:
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and understanding of budgets, contracts, and project controls
- The ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate project information
