About the Role
Join WSP as a Project Manager within our expanding team focused on water, environment, infrastructure, flood defence, and earth sectors. You will deliver diverse projects for a wide range of global clients, working on infrastructure, natural environment, water, flood defence, and civil engineering projects. As part of the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group and the wider Project Management and Commercial Management Team, you will benefit from a supportive culture that values your career growth and development.

Your typical day will include ensuring compliance with quality management systems, driving efficiencies in project execution, providing leadership and guidance to multi-disciplinary teams, organising and chairing client meetings, and managing projects valued between £1m and £15m. You will control project changes, monitor commercial fee arrangements, undertake contract management under various frameworks, and carry out line management responsibilities for junior team members.

Requirements

Experience
- Previous experience in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Proven ability to lead and administer NEC Contracts.
- Experience managing projects in water, linear infrastructure, or environmental sectors is beneficial but not essential.
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk management, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Qualifications
- Professional qualification in project management, quantity surveying, and/or an engineering discipline.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) or similar.
- NEC accreditation and technical skills to lead NEC Contracts.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions such as Association for Project Management (APM), Project Management Institute (PMI), Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), or Institute of Civil Engineers (MICE).
