About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects that make a positive impact on communities worldwide. As a Project Manager within our expanding team, you will focus on delivering diverse projects across infrastructure, natural environment, water, flood defence, and earth and environment sectors. You will be part of the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group and the wider Project Management and Commercial Management Team (PMCM), which includes over 400 professionals across the UK.

Your role will involve leading multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring compliance with quality management systems, driving efficiencies throughout project execution, and managing projects valued between £1m and £15m. You will organise and chair client meetings, control project changes, monitor commercial fee arrangements, and undertake contract management under various frameworks. Additionally, you will have line management responsibilities for Assistant or Graduate/Undergraduate Project Managers.

Requirements

Experience
- Previous experience in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Proven ability to lead and administer NEC Contracts.
- Experience managing projects valued between £1m and £15m.
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk management, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Qualifications
- Professional qualification in project management, quantity surveying, and/or an engineering discipline.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) or similar.
- NEC accreditation and technical skills to lead NEC Contracts.
- Membership of professional institutions such as Association for Project Management (APM), Project Management Institute (PMI), Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), or Institute of Civil Engineers (MICE) is desirable.
- Background in water, linear infrastructure, and/or environmental projects is beneficial but not essential.
