About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects that make a positive impact globally. Join an expanding team of Project Managers focused on career growth and delivering diverse projects across infrastructure, natural environment, water, flood defence, and earth and environment sectors. You will be part of the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group within the wider Project Management and Commercial Management Team (PMCM), comprising over 400 professionals across the UK.

A typical day includes ensuring compliance with quality management systems, driving efficiencies throughout project execution, providing leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary project teams, organising and chairing client meetings, and managing projects valued between £1m and £15m. You will control project changes, monitor commercial fee arrangements, undertake contract management under various frameworks, and hold line management responsibilities for Assistant or Graduate/Undergraduate Project Managers.

Requirements

Experience
- Previous experience in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering with a desire to focus on Project Management.
- Proven ability to lead and administer NEC Contracts.
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk management, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

- Ability to work with limited supervision and manage projects valued from £1m to £15m.

Qualifications
- Professional qualification in project management, quantity surveying, and/or an engineering discipline.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) or similar.
- Membership of professional institutions such as Association for Project Management (APM), Project Management Institute (PMI), Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), or Member of Institute of Civil Engineers (MICE).
- NEC accreditation is required or willingness to attain it.
