About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people in more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving complex challenges and delivering impactful solutions.

Within the Nuclear Business Unit, we support programmes that require strong project and programme controls capability, with planning acting as a key integrator across cost, risk, change, and delivery functions. As a Senior Planner, you will play a central role in enabling governance, assurance, and decision-making in complex and highly regulated environments.

This role requires UK nationality and security clearance eligibility (up to Security Clearance - SC). You will support confidential clients on challenging and rewarding programmes, applying strong analytical skills and a structured, governance-led approach to planning.

Key responsibilities include leading the development, integration, maintenance, and assurance of project and programme schedules, establishing and maintaining planning standards and controls, managing schedule baselines and change impact assessments, and driving integration between planning and other project controls disciplines. You will provide schedule assurance and challenge across multiple stakeholders, lead planning inputs to governance forums and reporting, analyse schedule performance and risks, and support delivery strategy and scenario planning.

Additionally, you will facilitate planning workshops, provide line management and coaching to planners, and champion continuous improvement in planning processes and tools. The scope of accountability will be aligned to experience and programme needs, ranging from schedule assurance to integrated controls leadership.

Arcadis offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering sustainable solutions for a more prosperous planet, while supporting your career growth in a diverse and inclusive environment.

- Proven ability to engage confidently with multidisciplinary stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Experience line managing, coaching, mentoring, or supporting planner development.
