WSP is seeking Senior to Associate Director level Hydrologists and Water Resources Hydrologists to join our Sustainable Water Management Consulting team. You will lead hydrological contributions for a wide range of national infrastructure and flood risk management projects, working with both external and internal clients.

Depending on your interests and strengths, you may contribute to:
- National fluvial and pluvial modelling to support Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) studies and strategic infrastructure projects across energy, transport, government, and water sectors.
- Hydrology and water resources management services for UK water companies, supporting water resource and drought plans, new water supply assets, and the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP).
- Water resource assessments for industrial and energy sectors, contributing to climate resilience and adaptation planning.

Requirements

Experience
- Detailed understanding of UK hydrological techniques with knowledge of recent updates and active developments.
- Proven track record in undertaking high flow studies.
- Experience in carrying out reviews and calculations to satisfy UK statutory bodies such as EA, SEPA, NRW, or DfI.
- Commercial awareness with experience identifying and developing business opportunities and preparing winning proposals.
- Strong client understanding with a track record of leading and winning work.
- Excellent report writing, technical review, numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body or commitment to work towards Chartership.
