About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects that the world needs, contributing your expertise to infrastructure, natural environment, water, flood defence, and earth and environment sectors. As a Senior Project Manager, you will join an expanding team focused on career growth and delivering diverse projects for global clients. You will be part of the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group within the wider Project Management and Commercial Management Team (PMCM), consisting of over 400 professionals across the UK.

Your role will involve ensuring compliance with quality management systems, driving efficiencies throughout project execution, and providing leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary project teams. You will plan, monitor, and control projects valued between £1m and £100m with autonomy, manage contract administration under various frameworks, and take accountability for delivering projects within agreed financial and commercial metrics. Additionally, you will undertake line management responsibilities for Assistant, Graduate, and Undergraduate Project Managers and support business development activities including marketing WSP services and organising client meetings.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience in Project Management, Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying, or Commercial Management with a desire to focus on Project Management.
- Experience managing projects with values from £1m to £100m.
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk management, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
- Experience working with NEC contracts and contract administration.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Qualifications
- Professional qualification in project management, quantity surveying, and/or an engineering discipline.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) or similar.
- NEC accreditation and technical skills to lead and administer NEC contracts.
- Membership of professional institutions such as Association for Project Management (APM), Project Management Institute (PMI), Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), or Institute of Civil Engineers (MICE).
- Evidence of higher attainment and ongoing professional development in project management or related field.
