About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects that make a positive impact on communities worldwide. As a Senior Project Manager within our expanding team, you will focus on delivering diverse projects across infrastructure, natural environment, water, flood defence, and earth and environment sectors. You will be part of the Project Management and Commercial Management Team (PMCM) within the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group, working alongside over 400 professionals across the UK.
Your role will involve ensuring compliance with quality management systems, driving efficiencies throughout project execution, and providing leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary project teams. You will support marketing efforts, organise and chair client meetings, and manage projects autonomously with values ranging from £1m to £100m. You will be responsible for contract management and administration under various frameworks, line managing Assistant, Graduate, and Undergraduate Project Managers, and delivering projects within agreed financial and commercial parameters.

Experience
- Proven experience in Project Management, Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying, or Commercial Management with a focus on project delivery.
- Competence in stakeholder management, risk management, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
- Experience working with projects in water, linear infrastructure, and/or environmental sectors is beneficial.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Qualifications
- Professional qualification in project management, quantity surveying, and/or an engineering discipline.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) or related field.
- NEC accreditation with technical and practical skills to lead and administer NEC Contracts.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions such as Association for Project Management (APM), Project Management Institute (PMI), Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), or Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and higher attainment in project management or related fields.
