About the Role
WPS is seeking a Site Manager to join our Housing Maintenance team within the Planned Works division. You will be working primarily in the Cambridgeshire area on SHDF energy and net zero carbon projects, delivering External Wall Insulation (EWI), Photovoltaic (PV), or Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations on planned properties. The primary focus of this role is to ensure projects are built safely, economically, and to agreed timescales and quality standards. Key responsibilities include programming and short-term scheduling of works, managing operatives, sub-contractors, and suppliers to maintain quality control and health and safety standards, attending pre- and post-inspection works to advise on job requirements and design solutions, and ensuring successful delivery and handover of schemes. You will also be responsible for completing weekly site progress reports, submitting them electronically and to the Project Manager, and ensuring full job packs and completion details are sent promptly to support invoicing and cash flow management. This role requires strong site leadership and effective communication skills to drive project success.
