About the Role
WPS is seeking a Site Manager to join our Housing Maintenance team within the Planned Works division. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are built safely, economically, and to agreed timescales and quality standards. Your role will focus on managing social housing contracts, including programming works, managing operatives, sub-contractors, and suppliers to maintain quality control and health and safety standards. Key duties include attending pre and post-inspection works, advising on job requirements, assisting with design solutions, and ensuring successful delivery and handover of schemes. You will also be responsible for completing weekly site progress reports and submitting them electronically to the Project Manager. Upon completion of works, you will ensure full job packs and completion details are sent promptly to facilitate swift invoicing and cash flow management.

Experience
Proven track record as a Site Manager completing internal and external planned maintenance works successfully.
About you
Effective communicator with a positive and engaging approach to site leadership. Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Must be able to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Qualifications
Full accreditation in asbestos awareness and scaffold inspections required. SMSTS certification mandatory. Full UK driving licence essential. Valid first aid certificate required.
