About the Role
Help us create a better future, quicker. This role is responsible for providing thorough inspection of company assets in line with company policy, including overhead assets up to and including 33KV. The inspection reports are used to prioritise remedial works or renewals. Key responsibilities include:
- Primarily inspecting the SPEN Overhead line network
- Recognising and reporting defects
- Immediate reporting of “I Hazards”
- Contributing as an effective team member in Energy Networks
- Acting as a point of contact for site issues
- Assisting with customer enquiries

Experience
- Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures, and working practices
- Business knowledge of Compliance and 3rd party construction and connections
- Working knowledge of company Health & Safety requirements and compliance
- Knowledge of network and business data and network management systems
- Experience using handheld Toughbook devices

About you

- Ability to devise solutions to complex problems and challenges
- Resource planning and work management skills
- Effective and confident written and verbal communicator
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of how Energy Networks overhead electrical network operates
- Knowledge of EN Asset Inspection policy (ASSET-01-021)
- Full driving licence

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are stated; however, relevant experience and knowledge in energy networks, compliance, health & safety, and asset inspection policies are essential.
